2003 National Book Festival (Original painting in the collection of The Library of Congress)
I was commissioned by Mrs. Laura Bush and The Library of Congress to paint a commemoration of the 2003 National Book Festival -- a celebration of literacy initiated by Mrs. Bush, which was then on its third year.
